This project is located in the Beaches, as part of a townhouse development that was built on the edge of the former Greenwood race track. The houses that are part of this development are known for their colourful facades, reminiscent of the ‘painted ladies’ homes in San Francisco, while the standard interior is a bit more subdued.

Our goal with this project was to inject a bit of colour and life into the home in a modern way, so that the interiors could capture a bit of the energy that the exterior possessed.

We used muted colours in the bedrooms, with the blues of the Master Bedroom recalling the colour of the lake it looks out onto. In the kitchen, saturated jewel toned green cabinets with brass accents were used to give a luxurious warmth to the space. Bright and happy wallpaper patterns were used in the bathrooms and hallways to add surprise and personality to these places of passage.
